Boston, MA, June 26, 2018 – OCEANAIR, Inc., New England’s leader in international trade and logistics, welcomes Chris Lake to lead the company’s new truckload brokerage division, based in Boston, MA. With the addition of Mr. Lake, OCEANAIR will expand its supply chain services and offerings by including full truckload, flatbed, temperature-controlled FTL, and intermodal services across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Mr. Lake attended Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT. In his previous position, Mr. Lake was the Director of Truckload Brokerage for Mach 1 Global Services, Inc. based out of Tempe, Arizona. He was accountable for day-to-day transportation and operations management, service improvements, cost containment and compression as well as tracking and implementing strategies to improve service. Mr. Lake’s responsibilities included managing costs and developing and maintaining an effective and involved workforce through performance leadership, education, communications and policies which support diversity and team effectiveness.
