OCEANAIR named “Service Provider of the Year”
BOSTON, MA ─ Maine International Trade Center (MITC) has announced the winners of the 2015 International Trade and Investment Awards. The awards will be officially presented during Maine International Trade Day on May 21, at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine.
Service Provider of the Year – OCEANAIR, Inc.
The Service Provider of the Year Award is presented to a service provider that has established an successful international presence for the export of their service. OCEANAIR, Inc. is one of the largest independent providers of freight forwarding services. Founded in 1983, the company currently employs over 100 staff members with corporate headquarters located in Revere, MA, and a Falmouth ME office.
“For OCEANAIR to be recognized by MITC as the Service Provider of the Year validates the benchmarks of success we set for ourselves: Treat clients with respect and integrity; demonstrate commitment and teamwork to achieve continuous improvement to the services we provide our customers. This honor also further substantiates our decision to open the office in Portland in 2002 to better service customers in Maine, as we work to earn their loyalty and to be part of their success in international trade,” said Kelly L’Heureux, LCHB, General Manager of OCEANAIR.

OCEANAIR was founded in 1983 and presently employs over 100 staff members and 10 licensed Customs Brokers. The company’s early success was built on the foundation of educating the business community through global trade seminars and in-house training. Today, OCEANAIR provides Customs brokerage and freight forwarding services to clients throughout New England.
