OCEANAIR’s Office in Maine Adds New Talent to Support Growth

OCEANAIR is proud to announce the addition of Susan Bell to its team. Ms. Bell will be responsible for pricing and customer service coordination for Falmouth operations.

Susan is a licensed Customs House Broker with more than twenty-five years of logistics and regulatory compliance experience. Her expertise includes analyzing supply chains, educating clients on international trade, and helping businesses incorporate the best practices for compliance, exporting, or importing.

Over the years, Susan conducted seminars to guide customers in domestic and international shipping, and assisted them with understanding federal regulations. She is well-versed in distribution strategies, warehousing, cross docking, and claims management.  Beyond her excellence in customer service, Susan’s skills also encompass branch/regional management, sales, rate negotiations, and complex international shipping solutions and procedures.

In this integral role, Susan will externally focus on developing solutions to reduce costs for customers while also aiding internal operations in increasing productivity and performance. She will prioritize quoting, sales support, exports, and entry writing. With the growing needs of the OCEANAIR’s Falmouth office, Sue’s experience and industry knowledge are a welcomed addition to service Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

According to General Manager Kelly L’Heureux, “Susan’s familiarity of the client base here in New England, will continue our growth and recognition.” Ms. Bell is a member of Coalition of New England Companies for Trade (CONECT) and Foreign Commerce Club of Boston. She is also a member and educational seminar contributor for the Maine International Trade Center (MITC). Susan also served as Secretary of the Air Cargo Club of New England. “Having another licensed broker in the office shows our commitment to the industry for understanding the demands and knowledge of the Customs regulations,” L’Heureux added.
